The most convenient way would be with the tramway, which starts running around 05:00 in the morning. Porta al Prato stop is only 5' from our residence.

Yes, on the balconies it is allowed, but not every apartment has one.
you can use the tram, which you can take it on the train station. The tram stop are called "Alamani-Stazione Santa Maria Novella or Valfonda-Santa Maria Novella" , the line is called "T1 Villa Costanza", the stop near us is called Porta al Prato.
